What are redemption points on PokerStars?

Redemption points are earned automatically when you play real money poker games.

They are used only to clear release bonuses and certain challenges.

They do not have any monetary value and are not rewards.

 

How do I earn redemption points?

You earn redemption points through:

• Rake paid in cash games
• Tournament fees

Redemption points are earned directly at the tables and are not linked to PokerStars Rewards features such as Chests or progress bars.

 

What is the redemption point earn rate?

In Poker, you earn:

• 5 points per $1 paid in rake or fees
• 5.5 points per €1 paid in rake or fees
• 6.5 points per £1 paid in rake or fees

 

Are redemption points part of PokerStars Rewards?

No. Redemption points are not part of PokerStars Rewards.

They:

• Do not contribute to progress bars
• Do not unlock Chests
• Are used only for bonus clearance

 

What is the difference between redemption points and reward points?

• Reward points

  • Unlock PokerStars Rewards Chests
• Redemption points
  • Used to clear bonuses or challenges

Neither type of points has direct monetary value.

 

Can I use, trade or transfer redemption points?

No. Redemption points cannot be:

• Transferred
• Traded
• Redeemed directly

No. Redemption points are not displayed in your account.

 

Why are redemption points not visible?

Redemption points are not shown because they are used only internally to track bonus progress.

You do not need to monitor them.
