What are reward points in PokerStars Rewards?

Reward points are earned by playing real money poker on PokerStars.

They:

  • Measure your playing activity
  • Track your progress in the PokerStars Rewards program
  • Depend on the rake you generate

 

How do reward points work in PokerStars Rewards?

Reward points fill your progress bar.

  • As you earn points, the bar fills
  • When it is completed, you receive a Chest
  • A new progress bar then starts automatically

 

What do I get from reward points?

When you complete a progress bar:

  • You receive a Chest
  • Chests contain cash rewards
  • There are six Chest levels, increasing in value

 

When are reward points credited?

Reward points are credited after gameplay is completed:

  • Tournaments: after the tournament ends
  • Cash games and Zoom: after each hand

 

How many reward points do I earn?

Depending on the game currency, you earn for most games:

  • 100 reward points for every $1 paid in rake or tournament fees
  • 110 reward points for every €1 paid in rake or tournament fees

 

What are redemption points?

Redemption points are separate from reward points.

They are used to:

  • Track progress in promotions
  • Clear bonuses and Challenges

They do not:

  • Contribute to progress bars
  • Unlock Chests
  • Appear in your account

 

How do redemption points work?

Redemption points:

  • Track progress toward specific offers
  • Trigger a payout or next step once the requirement is met
  • Are used only for bonus clearance

 

How many redemption points do I earn?

For poker offers:

  • 5 redemption points for every $1 paid in rake or tournament fees

For casino bonuses:

  • Rates vary depending on the game type
